Where can I find Shemot שְׁמוֹת in the Torah Sroll?

Shemot שְׁמוֹת Aliyahs

  • FIRST: כהן

    Begins in Column 61 on/within Line #6 with the words:

    "וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הַבָּאִים מִצְרָיְמָה"

    ("and these are the names of the children of Israel, who were coming towards Egypt" Exodus 1:1)

  • SECOND: שני

    Begins in Column 61 on/within Line #28 with the words:

    "וַיִּקְרָא מֶלֶךְ מִצְרַיִם לַמְיַלְּדֹת"

    ("and the king of Egypt called for the midwives" Exodus 1:18)

  • THIRD: שלישי

    Begins in Column 62 on/within Line #11 with the words:

    "וַיְהִי בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם וַיִּגְדַּל מֹשֶׁה"

    ("and it came to pass in those days when Moses was grown" Exodus 2:11)

  • FOURTH: רביעי

    Begins in Column 62 on/within Line #36 with the words:

    "וּמֹשֶׁה הָיָה רֹעֶה אֶת צֹאן יִתְרוֹ חֹתְנוֹ"
