Where can I find Vayeshev וַיֵּשֶׁב in the Torah Sroll?

Vayeshev וַיֵּשֶׁב Aliyahs

  • FIRST: כהן

    Begins in Column 42 on/within Line #29 with the words:

    "וַיֵּשֶׁב יַעֲקֹב בְּאֶרֶץ מְגוּרֵי אָבִיו בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן"

    ("And Jacob dwelled in the land of the soujournings of his father, in the land of Canaan" Genesis 37:1)

  • SECOND: שני

    Begins in Column 43 on/within Line #7 with the words:

    "וַיֵּלְכוּ אֶחָיו לִרְעוֹת אֶת צֹאן אֲבִיהֶם בִּשְׁכֶם"

    ("and his brothers went to feed the flock of their father in Shechem" Genesis 37:12)

  • THIRD: שלישי

    Begins in Column 43 on/within Line #24 with the words:

    "וַיְהִי כַּאֲשֶׁר בָּא יוֹסֵף אֶל אֶחָיו"

    ("and it came to pass when Joseph came to his brothers" Genesis 37:23)

  • FOURTH: רביעי
