Where can I find Chayei Sarah חַיֵּי שָׂרָה in the Torah Sroll?

  • FIRST: כהן

    Begins in Column 23 on/within Line #11 with the words:

    "וַיִּהְיוּ חַיֵּי שָׂרָה מֵאָה שָׁנָה וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וְשֶׁבַע שָׁנִים"

    ("and the lifetime of Sarah was 127 years" Genesis 23:1)

  • SECOND: שני

    Begins in Column 23 on/within Line #36 with the words:

    " וַיָּקָם שְׂדֵה עֶפְרוֹן אֲשֶׁר בַּמַּכְפֵּלָה"

    ("and the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, was confirmed" Genesis 23:17)
