Where can I find Bereshit בְּרֵאשִׁית in the Torah Sroll?

  • FIRST: כהן

    Begins in Column 1 on/within Line #1 with the words:

    "בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים"

    ("in the beginning G-d created" Genesis 1:1)

  • SECOND: שני

    Begins in Column 2 on/within Line #21 with the words:

    "אֵלֶּה תוֹלְדוֹת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ"

    ("these are the generations of the heaven and of the earth" Genesis 2:4)

  • THIRD: שלישי
